thanks for the writeup raimondas! just installed mine today. like previously said, it feels more notchy and the throws pretty short. also, shifting feels just fine w/ my jdm center console.
install was pretty straight-forward....except...when i got to removing the metal shift cable clip. sucker felt stuck & wasnt budging. i couldnt pry it out w/ a flat-head. ended up using needle noze pliers...grabbed the center of the clip...and pulled (and pulled) upwards with hulk strength
...it finally came out. whew. everything else went smoothly.
