Ordered a new flywheel and another SPEC Stage4 clutch and will have them balanced with the flywheel slightly shaved. Thanks to one of our gratuitous members here on FitFreak for lending me a helping hand in getting this accomplished.

Hi!

I'm new to FF!

I own a black 2012 JDM Honda Jazz Vibe-S GE8 (as it is known here in Australia!)
bought the car brand new back then however I literally had the car for maybe 3 months before I lost my drivers license for 2 years.
some dodgey cops booked me for a alcohol DUI when in fact I decided to do the right then when I had a night out and sleep in my car!
Australian laws enforcement is a 50/50 chance between good cop/bad cop.
long story short it was basically my word against his, and the judge ruled in favor of the police.

anyways now that I've been able to get back on the road I've started to work on my GE8.

my model (the Vibe-S) is made in Japan and came with the JDM spec Modulo body kit.

I'll add pics as I find time but for now I have one recent shot taken from my phone:

currently installed:
- J's Racing titanium FX 50R Exhaust System
- Mugen replica visors
- PDW C-Spec in flat black 17x7 wheels on 205/45/R17's
- From memory 15% or 20% window tinting (whatever is 2 levels below illegal in Australia lol)
- Rear tailights tinted black
- Aftermarket LED parker lights

to be installed:
- RS Modulo front bumper DRL's
- HPS short Ram Intake
- JDM red Honda Badges front and back

will be de-badging the rear this weekend to go for that overall stealth look I've been aiming for.

thanks!

Do it, I love the way it looks. Both the center garnish and lips can be purchased through Rakuten seller Desir de vivre.

I am so ready to buy one, but I cannot figure out where it should go?

Somewhere on the garnish? But it has the grooves so its not flat.

Although I am super confused on how to install.

No directions and tons of hardware, and I assume I have to drill into the front of the bumper for those little black push pins? If I ever remove it I'll have holes in front of the bumper that you can see
I can't find where to buy these anywhere
Honda access doesn't have these on
Can you send a link

Yesterday I installed HPS short ram and today I got to try out my coilovers and the intake on some twisty country roads. So much fun and even driving on it hard I seem to have gained mpg. Thanks to all that gave this intake a good review, this site is a good resource.

was the install hard? did it take long? I'm a mechanical noob but wanting to install myself. was there a guide for the install somewhere? my unit is being posted at the moment to Australia from the US because nobody stocks it locally.

After almost TWO (2) years,
I finally finished with my DIY for the JDM Folding, Reverse Tilt, Heated, Blinker Mirror hahaha...

the last piece which is the JDM Honda Access "Insight" Reverse Tilt Module/Wiring had been installed today and
the right mirror will tilt down each time I put into reverse gear, and then when I get out of reverse, it goes back
right to where it is, basically it work perfectly !

Here is my last post on that thread of mine:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ml#post1299059

so now, each time I park (reverse) near a curb,
I don't have to extend my neck like a Giraffe to make sure I had plenty of space to the curb

I ordered it from HPS kinda on a whim. It came with a 9 step instruction booklet that even told me what size wrenches and what screwdrivers. I'm no mechanic I only do like breaks, struts, exhaust.... bolt on. I was done in around 20min and the only snag i ran into was getting the vacuum hose on. I'm not sure about using lube out of possibility of reacting with the rubber hose. I got it on enough for a clamp. The kit doesn't come with clamps for the vac hose. You have to take out the battery so get your radio code https://radio-navicode.honda.com/ . I had to press and hold the 1 & 5 then add & hold the power on my radio to get the serial #.
good luck, it seems harder than it is.

It always takes me a bit to readjust after curb parking, great mod.

thanks so much! a lot of helpful information here.
just wanted to clarify what size clamps are needed for the vacuum hose?
i'd probably just use WD-40 to get it safely on without damaging the hose.

thanks again!

You'll be amazed at how easy it is. The instructions are very clear, and their tech team has an email address if you have questions. This is my second intake install, and it only gets easier the second time.

The Toyota had an easier procedure because Toyota's designs are always super easy to work on, but knowing generally which pieces you have to remove and what is going to give you trouble is a nice bonus. If you want my notes and thoughts on the job, click the thread in my sig and look on page 2.

My antenna was stolen .. so I ordered a Stubby. It was over 2+ weeks and it still didn't come yet... so I gave up. Got a Blox antenna via 2 day shipping (yay for Amazon Prime!)... Just my luck, they both showed up on the same day. So now I'm stuck with 2 tennas

TL;DR: Antenna was stolen.

Here's one of the tennas
