What did you do to your GE fit today?
J's Racing. Says in the description! LOL
I had Morimotos for a while. They are good but I picked up some Densos and potted them.

Did this today...It fits pretty well but could use a shift knob extender...or whatever those things are called that raise up the shift knob a bit higher...
I also want a stitched red/blk cover for the e-brake handle and center armrest but haven't found any as yet...excuse the mess..

rut roh BMW sounds like he wants to learn about retrofitting.
I was thinking of buying the V-LED LED headlight H4 kit
but I read here the light beam pattern is still not perfect...
I also really like the daytime running light of the standard headlight,
which will not be available if I do retrofit...
but all the nice Honda Fit here with all the retrofit headlight really
make me one to have one too someday
When seated in your car (being that your in a LHD there is no real diff) have a look down below toward the middle console and there will be a littel screw that requires a flat head removal. This is the same for the other side.
Remove the e-brake plastic cover in front of the handle with a small flat head.
In my case (Center console armrest) there were two bolts are the bottom on each side that needed to be removed.
Once that was done I simply reclined the seats and slid the entire middle section up and out.
From there its all removal of the stock and matching back with the aftermarket....repeat the above steps in reverse order
*I should have taken pics*
Yes, I do not have retrofit headlight...

LS460R is a modified LS460 projector with a clear lens conversion to make a crisper cut off and has a more compact highbeam actuator.
Dont get anything plug and play for headlights, your beam pattern will be too unfocused/inconsistent.
The ls460 is one of the best oem projectors(it was the best at the time i got mine) out there. It produces very wide, even lighting. In pitch black, i can easily see across 6 lanes of traffic and well into the ditch. The intensity of light on the ground is virtually the same from left to middle to right, no uneven hotspots.
For DRLs there are many options you can go with. You can wire up your foglights to come on independently/automatically with ignition. Or you can install switchbacks like ryu has in his turn signals, or you can install custom leds in various forms. In my case, i have leds in my mugen lip, and led halos mounted within the clear shroud of the ls460R, which are automatically turned on with ignition.
Heres some pics.

They are still some of the best OEM Projectors
Wide beam, great cut off.
Bi xenon projectors: Hi/Low
They are pricey but really worth it.
CBIs is a type of D2S Bulbs. Pretty much best one you can buy.
Made by Osram it's short for Cool Blue Intense.
Color rating of 5500k. It's white light with a hint of blue.
Let me know if you have any more questions about retrofitting.
Lowering my FIT perhaps in a month, these are the options I'm considering:
B&G S2 Sport Lowering Springs
Progress Sport Lowering Springs
RS-R Lowering Springs
TEIN STech Springs
