Hello fellow FIT-ters, I am from the Philippines and recently had my GE8 (Jazz) steering wheel installed with the oem Audio Controls by an auto electrician referred by an acquaintance. As far as I can tell, everything went well except after a week or so, I noticed there is no illumination showing on the combo switch/stalks (signal and wiper) when I turn the lights on at night. Prior to the installation, I know they work. As far as I remember, the stock harness was replaced with the one that came with the audio control and the auto electrician added about 4 wires connecting from the audio controls to the stock audio system. My theory is, he might have missed or disconnected the illumination wire/s for the combo switches during the re-wiring. Now, can someone kindly guide me or show me what to look for and how to fix it? Let me know what information you need and will try my best to post it. I have actually contacted him again but may take some time for him to take a look. Appreciate any help you gurus can provide.
