Interior Illumination- harness installed
I just got back in from installing the accessory Interior LED (blue) illumination. Well, not quite done yet cause I'm waiting on the 20mm hole saw and 3.5mm drill bit to arrive. These are used to mount the LED heads into the lower dashboard panels.
Harness install is almost straightforward. Instrs are a little vague and the pics can be tricky to decifer.
One hint, in step 16, when the refer to the "metal frame", that is on the passenger side, up behind the lower dash. That took me about 15 minutes of scratching my head before I found that.
Also, the instrs are a little different if you have a base model with accessory fogs installed, as far as how the harness plugs into the vehicle. For a Sport model, install as if there are no fogs installed sine they are wired in differently than the acc. ones.
All in all, I think these will look great at night.
