Fit Headunit Harness

Does anyone know if the Headunit uses the same standard stereo harness as the Civic and other Hondas?

I'm hoping that I don't have to end up splicing into wires to connect my new AVIC Z1 .

In Europe the Fit uses the same harness as the current Accord. I guess you could take a look at the USDM Accord and you may get lucky!

I just bought the harness from Best Buy today that is made for 98' up honda's and it does not fit, not even close. I had my dash apart and radio out just to find out that it was the wrong harness.

The hardness should be for the Accord.

There are mainly two harnesses for Honda's and the one you're lucking for is like the blue ended one/square shaped one.

The one that I bought was blue but not the correct one. I wonder if the base and the sport use the same harness because of the two different systems.

I have a sport, and I just spliced into the harness for the head unit. I really did not want to splice in the the harness but I could not wait any longer. 8" Bazooka tube installed and sounds nice.

Is the stock 2001 accord harness, the same as the 07 Fit? I'll have to dig up my old harness from my Accord. That would be sweet I could use it on the Fit......
