Angry Navi Auto Dim Function Not Working

Hey Guys,

New Fit owner here. Currently I have the Navi set to "Auto" dim, but what's strange is that the screen display never dims when it is dark out even when my headlights are on. The screen is always in "Day" mode display. Has anybody encounter this issue before?

How is the "Auto" dim feature activated? Is it by turning on the headlights? Or is there a sensor in the Fit that detects the amount of light in the environment? I'm puzzled as neither one of them works for me....It is extemely cumbersome to toggle btw day and night mode manually since my "Auto" dim feature is not working. Any inputs would be appreciated...

Thanks.

Try turning down the brightness of your dash. IIRC, if you have the dash brightness to max, it locks the display in day mode.

Hmmm..what's funny is that I have my brightness setting throttled all the way down. I'm going to run to my car and try to push it up a bar or two.

Stupid me - I didn't know the dash brightness is controlled by the little knob. Everything worked like a charm. Originally, I though the dash brightness was referring to the brightness of the Navigation screen. Silly me.
