Anyone running two different tire sizes?

Anyone running two different tire sizes?
I need to replace the 2 front stock Dunlop tires on my 2010 Fit Sport. The back two are fine and still have plenty of tread.
I was able to secure a good deal on General Gmax AS-03 tires ($85 each including install) in the 205/50-16 size—although I haven't purchased them yet.
Is it okay to run two different tire sizes with the 205/50-16 on the front and the 185/55-16 on the back?
Thanks!

1. stay near same diameter on both sizes.
Do not exceed a tenth of an inch on diameter of rear tires compared to front; under braking the tendency to oversteer increases dramatically.
When you are close the difference in tire pressures will even the ride heights to avoid too much rear end lift on braking.
2. it is desirable to increase the tire contact patch on the heavier end of the car especially when that's the power end.
my fit always had wider tires front than rear and handled extremely well. It didn't hurt either that my front tires lasted longer so I got to buy 4 tires instead of 2.
3. try to match the performance level of the tires at both ends; if you have lesser performance tires at one end compared to the other, Watch out! In your case the possibility of generals being much lesser than OEM Dunslops is not expected to be a problem but running OEM rears with Direzza II's in front could be a problem: Fits do not like much oversteer.
good luck.
ps if you are competing check the tire size rules; some regs forbide different sizes on one car.
