Trying to buy a 2015 Fit EX 6-Spd in NJ
Well its been almost 3 weeks and two different dealerships trying to find me a 2015 Fit EX 6-Spd in black or gray. The first dealership promised me the car in under a week no matter what, obviously if your reading this post you realize that that never happened. Everyday it was the same lame excuse until finally I went to a different dealer, in which I was treated much better.
So it's been a week so far with the current dealership I am working with and I cant complain they are updating me everyday on search results. My problem is that they can find a 6-spd fit anywhere! If anybody works at or knows anyone that works at a dealer in NJ and has knowledge of either of these colors please let me know. A lot of dealer website has either of these 2 models in their inventory on their websites but unfortunately nothing is in stock. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

i was in the same boat as you. you need to do the research yourself. don't bother with letting the dealer do it.
none of the dealers around me had 6mt fits, so i went on autotrader and cars.com and searched dealer lots till i found my car. i found it within a few hours of searching, called the dealer made sure they ACTUALLY had it, then drove to get it the next day. simple, with minimal time wasted. i suggest you do the same.
coincidentally, i bought my car in jersey, in the middle of the state 150 miles away from my ny home.
put in a little work, and you will find the car easily. good luck.

For a bunch of the early GK owners, your three weeks is really nothing. There quite a few of us who waited for many many months.
Stick to the exact model your after with a dealer who wants your business. Show your seriousness by sitting down and working out the numbers. Nothing worse than an initially polite dealer, who finds the right car, only to find out he's gonna over-charge you with unnecessary add-ons.
Build up your patience level for now, knowing in the end, you will finally drive the car of choice. Good luck and keep us updated.

I understand guys have waited a while for there cars and I dont want to sound like I am complaining about 3 weeks. I have certainly waited longer for different cars. The issue was that bother dealers just brushed it off as " yeah we can get that for you next week" and no results. I have used cars.com but a lot of inventory on there seems to be outdated. Most of the current stock for ex 6spd has either been sold or is incoming inventory that has been delayed. I did not try mahwah yet, though.

if not, sit there and wait. choice is yours.

Well since I'm here its probably best to introduce myself, my name is Mike I'm from The Belmar area of NJ. I currently work cyber security for a state agency but i have close to 10 years experience with automotive electronics and prob 1000 remote starts under my belt. I have been reviewing several solutions for remote start integration for the fit, currently there is only 1 solution that I would utilize but I'm talking to another manufacture about the release of there solution.
Once I get my car I will be tinkering around with stuff in an attempt to figure out the hdmi bypass.
Feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to help out.

I mean if yiu want you can installed a wired fm transmitter with aux input. Sound quality is pretty decent and everything is pretty cheap? I'd prefer to check out the wiring and everything first before I recommend anything but it's an idea
