Any Honda automatic transmission

I had the opportunity to test several high performance automatics this past week end and I came away with thuis opinion just in case Honda wants to produce a competritor for the Nissan Sentra SER.

1. program upshifts just below redline.
2. program downshifts at 1400 rpm.
3. let the paddles shift up or down as the driver selects at any rpm between minimum and maximum allowable.
Of the 3 cars I tested that is the one that works best.

And yes Fit does it wrong by not upshifting at redline.

......

Engine's peak power is developed at 6600 rpm; the redline is supposedly 6800 rpm. I know it is hard to watch the tachometer while driving full throttle, but could you catch the shift point? Hopefully, it is at least 6600.
