Street Touring isn't easy. You can upgrade but must run on Street tires-

Often this means the very best in Street tires-

Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs have done well but now Bridgestone RE-11 might challenge- we will have to see.

Certainly the Star Specs come in good sizes for the Fit at a reasonable cost.

Here's how close it was- (only three runs)

Raton (Honda Fit Sport) 35.643 seconds, 50th on raw time of 70, 34th PAX
BMW 325 35.906 sec., 53rd raw time, 39th PAX
Lexus IS 300 37.882 sec., 63rd raw time, 57th PAX
08FitSport 38.001 sec., 65th raw time, 58th PAX

The championship had only experienced drivers best in class. 70 out of the 115 we normally will have.

The difference from 1st to 2nd was 0.263 sec. and difference from 3rd to 4th was 0.119 seconds. That was really close. A blink of an eye is 0.3 seconds.
Essentially dead even except for electronic timing- thank goodness for that.
