Yeah the fab part really isnt that great, mine is slanted to the I take side
but I got more low end power then before using emu
are u boosted ?
as for knock I think thats the injectors u are hearing
as it will bounce off the sheet metal
but I can't tell for sure as I have a major exhaust leak between my waste gate
