nope that came off of my mustang, i think they gave us 14 bux for not creating a new one.
just saved the old plate off of the mustang, and transfered insurance and DMV info the day i bought the car. but i don't have my "official" registration papers yet

i actually tried that on my mustang a while back the black pin stripping and it still took off some of the paint when i pulled the tape, but it wasn't by much. but i used actual pin stripping tape and not one for painting over tho, i wish i had pics of where it messed up, but i painted the rest by hand to fix it:
