Not true for all of their products. I've install the dash trim, HVAC trim, door pull trim and arm rest trim and none of those pieces had adhesive issues.
Preparation is key. If the surface was slightly dirty it will affect how well the product sticks.
I don't think it's fair to slander them like that. Did you try to contact them about the issue? Did you make sure to use alcohol to completely clean the surface?
