Just 4 tanks since new, all city driving apart from two 100 mile freeway trips, and every tank has been 29 mpg except one (with lots of freeway miles) at 33.

By the way, Jazz owners please convert your foreign gallons to US gallons as the US gallon is smaller than an Imperial gallon.

Edison Carasio is on a distinguished road
I got 32 for my first few tanks. I was driving real easy and slow. Highway driving in ST. Louis is as bad as city in the AM. This morning and yesterday for example, stop and go took me an hour to do 25 miles, all highway. Last few tanks have been 27, 29, 30. 27 was driving like a maniac all weekend, 29 moderate and 30 moderate.

I have had 51 trips to the gas station and over 11k miles of 80% city driving. I have kept records of each and every fillup and I get 27.3 mpg life time average as of this Sunday (03/30/08)

Just got my Fit on Saturday. I'll be posting my FE as soon as my tank needs refilling... I'm anxious to see how it does. No SG, just doing the math using the tripometer. So far it looks to be ~29 and I'm down to 1/4 tank.

Has anyone here made a comparison after using synthetic oil and/or better air filter (i.e., K&N)?

I did those two things on my 97 Civic and brought my avg mpg up from 32 to 35 mpg.

NovaRod (Fit is too new to do that yet)

Live and work in Dallas right now...

my first 5 tanks got me 38.33, 31.84, 33.22, 34.11, and 31.77 mpg. I usually pump around 8-9 gallons. I wonder if gas brands matter? For some reason, I try to stick with Shell and Chevron. Also, I made a similar trip with the first and fourth tank ( Dallas to Houston to Dallas ), and I've gotten different mileage. The first tank was with the Honda tank, and the 4th was with Shell.

Anyhow, I'm getting great mileage I would like to say. I usually have the AC on the 2nd level, moderate pressure, and I usually let my car warm up before driving in the morning and afternoon.

PS. I usually carry between 30-40 lbs. in the back.
