Car duster

Soo theres this girl at my school I always see using a car duster on her black 300. Her car is older then mine yet has less swirls and is always cleaner. But I dont think the fit has the same quality of paint as the 300 would. Do any of you guys use a car duster or would any of you guys recomend 1? Thanks!

I use a car duster and I recommend it. I dont know if it goes with all dusters, but the one I use is called the California Duster. Its been out for ages. I dont see much swirls on my 07 fit. The California Duster basically has this oil like substance (it doesnt leave marks on the car)imbedded into the thing and it picks up dust. I love it, used it on my mini, to my fit, to any car in my household. The thing with the cali duster, it says it gets better the more you use it, and you never have to wash it. Its been with me for 6 years.

I use it mostly to save myself from some car washes. My car usually gets dusty, so I just... use a duster to dust it. As it keeps me away from car washes, I don't have to dry off the car that often (even though I use microfiber). Car washes in general could lead to risks of swirls etc, as you know, its all bcuz your wiping it n stuff.

Hope I dont sound like a saleman, but I love my duster.

I would use car dusters but the reason I wash the car is the ample supply of bird poop and other splatters found on the car over the course of a week. No amount of dusting is going to take those off

I'm planning to get a duster soon. BTW, what's a 300?

You need the California Car Duster. Cheapest at Costco, comes with the small interior duster too.

My dads been using California dusters on his car for ages. So when i got the Fit, of course he recommended using it to me. I used it twice and highly regret it. Even though the duster was rather new(only had it for a week), it already had alot of dust collected on it, and when you slide a dirty "rag" over the Fits paint, it equals swirls. Take to mind i have NHBP, so the lighter colors arent as effected, but it did a number on my paint. Some good wax removed most of my swirls, but just a quik word of advice from some past expirience.

Going back and forth with the duster barely touching the car should'nt be creating swirls

That's a good one. Have they EVER been honest??? Well, except for Abe Lincoln, that is.
