How often do you wash your car?

Hey guys, I finished washing my car last night and realized that I washed it 2 weeks ago. I went to the beach, so it got dirty. I ran out of wax from a bottle that was supposed to wax 15 times (I've only used it 4). I realized that I might be a little obsessed with my car. How often and what methods do you use to wash your car?

I try to wash it at least once a week weather permitting, I powerwash it at the quarter wash so I don't get the infamous swirl marks, however the dealership ruined that one for me.

Usually once a month. I use the 'Autopia two-bucket' method with a grout sponge from Lowes. I use a good quality car soap (currently Megs Deep Crystal and Duragloss 901). I follow up with Ultima Paint Guard Plus sealant.

If you want to know how to care for the interior and exterior of a car, spend some time on the Autopia detailing forum. Autopia - Autopia Home

i wash my car at least once a week. wax and polish once a month. your paint job will only last if you put some effort into keeping it nice.

I would love if the weather had been nice enough that I could be keeping that kind of regiment up. Maybe I'll move to Cali

Is that the drying squeegee thing? One of my friends has one of those and it works wonders

During the summer and fall I washed it about once a week. Then when winter set in washed it every chance that it was above freezing normally once every two weeks. I may get to actually pull out the hose Saturday and do my first wash at home if it gets up in the 50's. I will be spending one week once it gets nice and warm doing the clay bar, Scratch X and Next Gen wax - that will be a great time in the garage detailing the Fit~!

I also wash it daily when the roads are covered in salt, I wash it after every rain, I wash it if it looks dirty, I wash it every time its supposed to be nice out for a few days. It gets washed once every 2-3 days on average year round. One of the perks or working for a dealership, hand wash anytime I want

I wash it whenever it's dirty and I have the free time. I probably average about 3 times a month. I use a California car duster, spray detail, and everything else to keep it clean in between washes.

Why is there no option for once a week? 'Every chance I get' is not even a consideration (since I'm not working much right now I could be doing it almost everyday, but no way I'm doing that). I aim for 1x/wk.

I hate it if my Fit is dirty. During the spring / summer it is washed every couple of days.
During the winter, it is either the local spray wash for a buck or even better hubby brings it to work at the firehall and gives it a good cleaning.

He took off my ice/snow tires today and yupp is washing it again. As long as it is above zero, he will wash it for me!
And my birthday is next week - I am getting the Mugen visors and the zeta folding armrest - can't wait!
