About every two or three weeks. When it's not 110 or raining...which seems to not happen that often.

I park outside. Now that the Fit is nice and waxed, I invested in a California Auto Duster to wipe off the excess dust whenever it gets dirty. I haven't washed the car in weeks and it still looks clean. I just rewaxed the other day so I should be good for another few weeks.

California auto duster + microfiber towels + quik detailer = never having to wash.

i used to wash it every sunday and wash and wax every 2 weeks. if it would rain i wipe it down and use that detailer spray. since this semester started, i wash when i get the chance. Hawaii's weather bugs me too. it would rain and stop pretty much anytime and any day and then ill be like "ah whatever.."

Usually about once a week, or after it rains and it looks like there is going to be a good upcoming few days of nice weather.

Good Question! Under normal conditions, I wash my Fit every two weeks by hand. Normal conditions would be no dusty roads and no rain. Try not to go longer, if not I take it to the self car wash so dirt won't deposit on door handles or other seams of the car.

Yeah I take it to the spray and wash, then by hand touch up any spots I may have missed and towel it off. Then drive it home to get the water out of the seams then hand dry it again and wax.

do you have a garage? i keep mines in the garage and in the morning, the fit is the only dew-free [not dust free :P ] on the road. THE FIT IS GO! if you dont have a garage, you can buy a car cover and put it over the fit, its an option

i used to wash it once a week because like you all know the back is a dust magnet, and since my car is black it looks super dirty. I try to keep it clean so damn kids wont write stuff on it and scratch the paint. But now i wash it about once every 2 weeks to keep swirls to a minimum, especially on the black paint. And i wax with turtle wax ice everytime after a wash, and clay bar when i have time. but rainy season is coming up so probably wont wash as often for a couple months.

Fact: ground here is clay.

Result:
1) leave work.
2) wash car on Sunday.
3) visit dad to help on the farm.
4) before car hits driveway all paint is under bronze dirt.
5) drive home.
6) clean front and rear windows so I can see again.
7) repeat 4-5 times over 2 weeks then wash dirt off paint to get to clearcoat.

I wash more dirt off in a week than most of you people will during your whole lives! Poor fit.

I try to wash my Fit once a week but now that winter's coming and it's so dank, wet and dreary it's gonna be tough. I'll probably just cough up the $20 twice a month during Winter to have the detail shop hand wash it for me. My other option is trying out the "Optimum No Rinse" car wash, which gets great reviews and is quick and easy.

I also keep a swiffer duster and one of those tape roller lint removers in my glove compartment. I dust the dash and all the nooks & crannies once or twice a week and lint brush the seats because the black seems to attract lint. And... I bought my Fit it's own nice portable vacuum cleaner to vacuum it out once a week. Right now I'm feeling a bit obsessed with keeping it clean inside and out but I've only had it since October 18....

LOL! i use the turtle wax ice liquid polish. its extremely quick and easy. It makes a black car super glossy! I used to use normal wax with a buffer but i hate how it leaves the white powdery residue on the black paint.

I've had my Fit for about 3 weeks and have washed it twice. The week I didn't wash it was because there were fires going on which left ash all over the neighborhood and my car. The following week I wash and wax it for the first time and of course it starts raining the following week. Of well.
