By hand, I wash it weekly. If its really dusty I run it through a touch free.
So Id guess about 2 times a week.

Im a big fan of a good old hand washing once a week but if im busy which i usually am i run it throught the automatic just to keep it from getting to nasty. I do like to wax it once a month as well but of course only if time permits. If i do it the way i like to a full wash, strip, claybar, and wax job takes about 4 hours not including the engine bay and the interior but im pretty anal otherwise i could prob nock it out in 2 and a half.

Thats called a California Water Blade. Ive been using one of those since they first came out with the plastic handle. If you slipped and hit the car with the handle it would leave a nasty gash in the paint that would not remove.

They redesigned it with a gelly type handle. So much better.
Id suggest cleaning it everytime before use. If sand gets caught on the silicone blade itll leave scratches all over the paint. Found that out on a friends car. Hehh

If I wash my car else wear, I MUST have my water blade and Absorber.

Ditto!

I usually do mine bi-weekly... although in the summer months when I do highway travel a bit more I try to wash it once a week to keep the bugs off!

always polish before wax. polish is a cleaner/detergent and wax is a uv/oxidation protectant.

I've had my Fit for a week or so now. I live in an apartment, so mine gets a trip to the car wash about 2x per week. Don't really like to, because nothing looks better than a hand wash.

Sucks when I had to wash it on the second day I owned it. Took it to my parents house down a gravel road

Hopefully I'll get it hand washed in about a week or two, then a nice wax...

Yeah I wash it about once a month or maybe less.

So Cal weather hardly ever rains so its not dirty, like with grime and waterspots and such, theres just dust. I just use my California Duster. Unless theres grime, birdpoo, or treesap, then I take it to wash.

It sucks washing, cuz theres so many waterspots in this HOT weather.

Just wax and dust.
