2009 Fit Fog Light Protection

Where can I find a product that will protect the fog lights from breaking? I've read about how fragile they are. I'm doing preparatory research in anticipation of getting a Fit. Thanks in advance!

Hey! Welcome to FitFreak.net! Good thinking to protect these easily damaged lenses before you have an incident.

Manufacturers that carry something like this are:

Lamin-x Protective Films - Protect with Style

Paint Protection Film - XPEL Technologies Corp.

And a couple of thread links for further research:

Fog Light Protection

For future reference the "Fit Lighting" thread would be your best bet for help with this subject:

Good luck with your decision, and don't forget to post up whatever you end up going with!

Will do, thank you! Also, in my current car, I hardly ever use the fog lights. It seems to be more of a form over function thing, so would it look alright just to have the housing for the fog lights removed, and stored for resale? Additionally, what about fog light placeholders? Like, durable black plastic placeholders that don't have any room for a light of any kind?

Will that keep my fog-lights from cracking/breaking for 8 years? My current car is 8 years old, and the fog-lights have never broken.
