View Poll Results: How loud is the TANABE MEDALLION exhaust.
1 being the softest, 10 being the loudest in relation to other exhausts? if 1 were the stock exhaust i would rate the Tanabe Touring Medallion at a 3.
if you have a decibel reader, it comes in at just 90 db at 3k rpm. a lot of the measured sound is coming from the engine at that rpm, i think the exhaust alone is much quieter than that.
I say three also (inside the car) Its nice and smooth, mellow, no drone at all. It compliments my A-spec CAI nicely. I also have a DC header, stock b-pipe, stock down-pipe. Who was the ass-hat who rated this exhaust a 10 on the loudness scale?

my brother-in-law has it and its not loud at all. definetely not going to attract cops in hawaii. when he is pounding it, it has a nice, loud, deep tone. and an intake definetely makes the sound even sexier.
oh and "raton" (another hawaii member) has the muffler as well. if you come to the next cruise sometime in april, he could probably give you a ride.
Okay, first, I would've just asked for opinions, because everyone's different.
That being said, my opinion is that it is pretty much stock... stock being 0 on a scale from 1-10. haha okay, maybe I didn't think and I put 1 but I would say its a 3. There is definitely deeper sound, but you can't even notice it if you don't have an intake.
