Oil catch can ---- help

since our cars are turboed, which means we got pipes through out ever where in the engine bay

where did u put ur oil catch tank ?
i know josh made another hole in the valve cover so he can vent it out on the passenger side, but with out doing that......where is there room to have a can ??

A catch can is necessary to to prevent oil from entering the intake and causing plug fouling or detonation on car that are worn out, have been set up loosely to reduce friction for racing or have ultra high compression or boost that causes leakage past the rings on the power stroke and pressurizes the crankcase resulting in accumulation of oil and gasses that are vented into he intake system.....A catch can allows the gasses to enter he intake but retains the oil..... I used to do the same thing on old air cooled VWs with an empty beer can at first but found that small Mason jar worked better.

does the size of the oil catch can matter? and do i really need it if i have turbo?

Well, if you ever get a turbo, the suction of the intake is so much that it sucks up some of the flying oil in the valves. That's not good for the engine. My catch can fills up pretty quickly and it could've been in there or in my combustion area. I do recommend getting one.
