I don't know if this has been answered before. If it has, i'm truly sorry.
Anyway, about three months ago I changed the original HU with a Pioneer single DIN player. I bought the stereo panel from my Honda dealer (and at first the audio pocket), but that was expensive enough so i just went with the panel.
So i found out that the open space is not very elegant. I would like something to cover it up with. But i don't want to use a fortune on a radio pocket (they are REALLY expensive here in Norway).
I also found out that with the standard HU removed, a clock was missing.
SO, my question is; does anyone here know of just a simple SingleDIN digital clock that either runs on batteries or the car battery?
I'm also open to any other solutions..
Thanks,
larshnordli

Your new Pioneer head unit doesn't have a clock function?
I don't know offhand of any straight up clocks that are DIN sized, but there are plenty of aftermarket dashboard clocks to be had. I'd say keep your storage pocket, and hang whatever timekeeper looks best wherever you want.
ur headunit definatly has a clock setting.... if u really want, theres plenty of battery operated clocks they sell just about everywhere. they arent going to be the same size, but u can make a panel and mount the clock in there if u realy want
yeah okay..the front of my car is being repaired atm, so i have no chance to check it out. The model number is Pioneer DEH-P4100SD. I threw the manual away also, but i'm sure there's an online manual or something.
You can put a Pioneer equalizer in there to complement the headunit
...or a 1-DIN 6-CD changer. I know Pioneer makes one too, I just forgot the model. The DEH-P4100SD should be able to drive it via the IP-Bus connection.
Man, the EQ was a great idea! But i can't seem to find it on the pioneer website.. if anyone would know of any model numbers, i would be greatful!
A CD-changer is also a good idea, except that i only use my iPod as a music library!

I've looked and searched the internet + read the manual and i can't find anything about how to set/show the clock on my player. I can link to the online user guide.
If anyone has this player (or another new pioneer player) please let me know HOW to do it
