XM SkiFi clean install ideas?

Anybody found a good way to install a large XM radio (like the SkiFi)? I have a 2007 Sport Auto (US). I'd like it to be up closer to eye level so I don't have to take my eyes off the road much. Right now it's down in the pocket next to the aux jack. The SkiFi has a nice big screen, but...that means it kinda big. Damn Honda and their efficient and ergonomic dash layout. LOL. Every other car I've had had some unused dash real estate to take advantage of. The only place I see is to the left of the gauge bezel basically in the pocket for the little triangle window. It has a remote, so I wouldn't have to easily reach the buttons. Anybody that has rigged a good bracket, location, pics, etc. would be great. Thanks to all the posted detailed threads on antenna wire placement!!

Why not just get a double DIN kit and mount where the factory radio is?

vividjazz,
About 10 years ago I would have jumped at the huge space in the dash for a double-din and the nice looking bezels I've seen on here. Unfortunately, with 2 kids and in my....err....late 30's (therefore my joke of being twice Honda's aimed market segment) I'm now all about simplicity and reliability. Now...if someone came out with a device that would receive XM through the factory radio and display on that nice big screen (like alot of US factory Hondas), I'd be all over it. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Now that is almost exactly what I was thinking of! How'd you find it? Guess I need to bone up on my Googling. Thanks alot. When I get it and get it installed, I'll be sure to figure out the posting of pics and post one.

Thanks again!

I went an got a Pioneer P bus XM hidaway upgrade unit and an adaptor from PIE (www.PIE.net) HON-03PC will allow you to add not only and XM but a 6 disc CD if you like.

BUUUUUT!! It will NOT show song info or have presets ( no biggie for me since I wll be getting a Navi head soon but couldnt deal with the little XM screen unit).
