CD player gone nuts?!?

Stock stereo. I was listening to my ipod plugged into the accesory jack, and also with the radio. I kept getting a message that a CD was trying to load.

There is no CD in the stereo.
If there is something stupid I'm missing, I'll be happy to do whatever is required, but otherwise it goes in for it's first warranty work.

I actually never took it in. It stopped happening. Not quite sure why it started or stopped

maybe lint got in through the gates and caused it to think there was something trying to get in?? had it happen on another stereo, but things act strange when you get them wet too.

The EXACT same thing happened to me I was gonna take it in but then it just stopped and hasn't happened since. At least I know I wasn't the only one

Did either of you guys get this fixed? Ours is doing the same thing and I dont really have time to take it to the dealer.

Any help will be appreciated.
