Drifting a FIT

Saw this on Honda Tech

Its not really for drifting although if you practice enough you could. it is designed to teach people what to do in an oversteer situation. So this creates a spin happy environment for the car.

cheaper and easier way is to use fastfood plastic trays. roll your back tires onto one on each tire and drive around in an empty and wide parking lot

I took a class in college called Emergency and Defensive Driving Techniques. We got to drive a car that had those wheels on it, but the car was a Ford Taurus. The wheels could be locked straight, so it acts like normal, but then the instructor could hit a button, and they would start to swivel. At less than 15 MPH it was hard as balls to keep the car in check, even after learning the techniques for handling oversteer. Man, I miss that class.

Just what SheepNutz said. Thats a drivers training course.
I "assdrag" my Fit. Im actually pretty good. I was worried about putting in the Progress rear bar and it making the rear too stiff. I did some tests last week, I still got it.

I only drag in the rain though and I dont use trays. I can drag when its dry too. A lot harder of course and it leaves flat spots on the tires but I can do it. Theres a vid of me draggin somewhere. Its a crappy one. That was my first night doing it. I met some 240 friends in the new Holler Honda parking lot and decided to try it out.

Wish he got a few other of my runs. I was FLYING!!! Im talking 40-50mph drags!!!
