My tire headache

I have 16x7 +40 DR-16 in gloss black/polished lip which i like but i have 215/45/16 tires which rub in the back on bumps or even more when 1 or 2 in the back. I went to a local tire shop, and they said it would fit which it is too wide. That problem aside...

205/40/16 or 205/45/16 or others have 195/something/16 - what do you guys think? Keeping in mind that t1r damper kit that ben released as something i'd use in the future.

You could run the 205/40/16 it is pretty low profile but it should get he job done. How much are you lowered or are you even lowered at all?

hmm can't believe you are rubbing on 16's with stock height I rarely rubbed on my 17's at stock height. I can't run them any more since I am lowered but hrmmm....

I had 17x7 42mm offset with a 204/40/17 tire on there and only rubbed when I hit a bump too hard with heavier people in the back.

I think its because they are 215s :/ so 205/40/16 - tirerack has the same tires i have direzza's (if i want to get them again) for half what i paid. Believe it or not i paid 195$ CAN each and i can order them from the usa for 81$ usd a tire.
