205/50/16 on GD??
You are going to rub a lot on all four corners because the tire is too tall because of the sidewall and the offset of the rim is too low. So, the tire would be rubbing on the bumper's tab unless you do some cutting to make work. I think you would be better off with 205/45R16s.
I'm running a similar wheel/tire setup (205/55R15 on 15x6.5 ET+40) and rub with stock springs on hard bumps.

I've been running 205/50R16 on my '07 for about a year now, but I'm running them on the Honda Accessory wheels...they are 6.5 wide. No rubbing on stock suspension, but my speedometer read 2-MPH low...
Don't run 40s...your speedometer will rack up the miles like crazy! And the value of your car will go down. Just try and explain to the person you will be trying to sell your car to that you ran smaller tires on your car, that is why the milage is so high...right, they will beleave you. You will be going like 60KPH and the speedometer will be showing 80KPH...
Don't run such small tilres...go for bigger ones and show less milage on your car.

They have a tire calculator--you can input your stock size and compare it with other sizes to see how far off they would be and/or if your odo and speedo would read too fast or too slow.

When your speedo says you're driving 60 MPH, you will actually be driving 59 MPH. This is when using the factory 195/55R15 tire size as a base and using the 205/50R15 as the new tire size at the link below.

I'm running 205/50/16's on my 08. 16x7 +42 offset. Rubs a little up front on the plastic liner, but I've got the inner fender rolled back. Rear rubs on really heavy bumps, but that will be fixed when I roll them. Lowered on Skunk2 springs.
Not sure how low you are but I'm running 205 50 azenis on a 15x7 +35 and I'm dropped right above the tire on coils. Rear is rolled but still rubs on bumper tab if you hit a bump hard enough front rubs on hard cornering but I am slightly cambered without camber bolts
