Check your tire pressure
I have had my Fit for two months and just yesterday checked the tire pressure. I know.....I am getting sloppy in my old age.
Anyway, the tires are supposed to be at 33 pounds all around and the spare at 60. The actual tire pressures varied from 27 to 28.5 pounds and the spare only had 49 pounds of air in it. This means the road tires and spare were all about 18 percent underinflated. Some of this could perhaps be attributed to seasonal temperature drops, but I suspect a certain amount of selling dealer "screw it" mentality might also have been at work.
From now on I'll check them more often. I was getting a measured average of 35mpg with my AT "09 Sport, but having the correct inflation can't hurt. FWIW.
