alignment expectations
I have a 2007 Fit Sport. I bought 4 news tires yesterday and also purchased a 4-wheel alignment. Afterwards they presented me with the alignment before/after specs. The back right wheel wasn't able to be brought within specs. Is this common? What if more than one wheel wasn't able to be brought within specs - why would I pay for an alignment if they can't properly align all wheels?
Just curious as to what appropriate expectations would be in this situation.
Thanks!

the fit does not have much OEM adjustments for alignment.
what were the specs after your alignment?
camber doesnt have much adjustment in the front, none in the rear.
toe is slightly adjustable in front and rear.
and caster cannot be adjusted at all.

specs
thanks for the responses ... the printer on their machine was shot so I can only make out the colored numbers (show below). The sets of numbers are ordered on the page as an X with the last set of numbers below the other 5 pairs. I'm assuming the tire positions based on the pair's position on the sheet. I'm wondering if I wasted the $69.99 on the alignment and how I should handle alignments in the future ... ? Thanks all!

Like everyone said the rear is not adjustable only the front.
If you running on stock suspension then they shouldn't have any problem getting the front to spec. If thing are off then something might be broken or worn out. Maybe the place is just retarded or trying to rip you off. They did charge for aligning the rear even through it's not adjustable.
If you on aftermarket springs then that might explain things.

yeah you dont really need to get an alignment if you got new tires since your car is stock to begin with. Unless you felt it pulling or steering wheel was off center.
i paid $114 for my alignment at brake check but its lifetime so i can go as many times as i want.
also make sure you tell them in the future that its only the front that can be aligned because even at honda they forget and i work there lol

Hello theorbo,
Have same situation on my 08 fit at 48000km. As others..You are not alone.
Manufacturer does not approuve of shims, wants to replace axel (at ±2000$), but not on warranty. implying no responsibility in car handling.
I am contacting A Consummers Organisation.
Please inform me of details on how you solved your situation

I got my new rims about 2 weeks ago and the front steering is feeling a little loose. Can't put my finger on it but does not feel the same as it did with the stock rims from a handling standpoint and seems response is more sensitive. My friends at the dealership are looking it over for me on Monday to see if they can figure it out. Just want to make sure that the tire place that did the rims did not mess anything up.

yes alignment. how long have you had your eagle's and how many miles?
if there new and you are seeing wear on the inside i would get it checked out. your car alightment is off and is eating up your tires

Has anyone found conclusive answer to this problem? My 08 Fit also shows rear alignment as being out of the recommended range, but the shop was unable to adjust it within tolerances. The outsides of my rear tires wear excessively as a result. Surely someone knows of a fix for this issue? I believe there was mention of this being fixed with shims? Has anyone taken their fit to the dealer to have the issue addressed?

Sorry for the late reply, haha. My eagles have just over 5,000 miles on them, when the shop did a rotation he said they seem to be feathering a bit. I think I'll run to an alignment shop for my camber in front, guy only charges $50 and is tits good.

I need to have my tires rotated. Now that I've been doing my own oil changes, I probably haven't had it done in a year. Even when I was getting regular changes through a shop, and having the tires rotated, they still had uneven wear. I'd like to find a way to fix the issue if possible.
