5 Lug Fit?

I was just thinking the other day...First off about having rear disks on a Fit.
I know its not like a hatch were you get GsR rears and just bolting it up.
Then i got to wondering about getting 5 lug on a fit...would the RSX stuff bolt up or maybe the new SI suspension....Any ideas would be great lets try to figure this out. I know there would be no reason really to do exept the wheel choices and 4 wheel disks but it would be cool.

good idea

yea ive posted this thread before and no answer every one is like why? or whats the point in waisting money. well the fact that there is no five lug fit in the u.s. and second it for the same reason that we would do a five lug conversion on a(n) civic or integra here the jdm specticle of things. so i would be more than happy to share my experience.

1. brian at hasport told me they used the rear hub from 95 prelude and they one offed the spacer.

2. ben from ajracing told me that he would ask his friend from over seas to check things out for him

3. the rsx front bolts up

thats all i know for sure all is speculation until i actually do it. hope this helps

there are 5 lug fits in america, one of our friends has one personally

the rsx fronts doesn't just "bolt up", you need custom washers, axles, and some other little things

and once again, you dont just bolt prelude hubs on the rear and assume everything works, there are little things that are needed to be done

Bump, for more info

But if the Fit is like the S13/S14 all we really "need" is a 5 lug conversion hub like this Brake: 5 Lug Conversion Hubs :: NIPPON POWER . Of course you'll need rotors and rims, but I'm unsure if you need new axles or calibers.

They're not. What he's saying is, people make 5 lug conversions for the S13/S14 that are whole hubs. He was saying someone should make something like that for the Fit. I've looked into it, but I think it's a bit of a waste of time to be honest.

To the O.P. in regards to the rear disc conversion, 99-00 Si parts work. Won't be a 5 lug though.

oh got it now

yea i met the owner of this car and he said they did the five lug conversion at hasport thats what i was told and when i called hasport they said it was a one off deal dont think they kept the parts list

i just want to be that much more different and i like the stability you get from a five lug vs. a four lug but as far as it being a waste of time well your right its just an opinion and thats what these forums are for.
lol

Oh, I'm definitely not trying to discourage you from doing it. If you get it together, make sure to take pics. I wanna see

im also interested in doing this, not for the "JDM" value. The real reason would be so then i could interchange wheels from my shoe collection from my dc2 (5-lug). Plus if i ever bought new wheels it could be rocked with both my rides.
I would love to see how my mag blue te37s would look on my gd3.

May I ask, how you did it? Is the "hub" is parted off another car or some other set up? Thanks
