it's ridiculous in that edmunds review how all the toyota and ford people instantly jump on honda.

i haven't heard of that happening with any other fits, so it's umm probably not a honda thing.

The Edmunds blogger clearly doesn't understand a manual transmission.

To overcome a 'locked-out' reverse merely takes a shift to 1st, inch forward, put it in reverse, done.
It happens to all manuals and I've had 15 different cars with them.
