Got problems with bumper paint peeling

Next time your dealer has no idea about the problem with Fit in regards to the bumpers rubbing the paint off, print out this article.

First thing I did when I got my new Fit home was put 4 nylon washers between the bumper/fender gap.

A easy 5 minute job for the peace of mind.

i read this thread this morning....went out and looked at my Fit. I had a very small amount of wrinkling in 2 of the 4 corners. I added 4 nylon washers and I should be good to go. Gonna check my wifes Fit when she gets home from work.

Good looking out guys.

all i did was reply saying i read this and fixed it on my car and then he jumps in and acts like we shouldnt be talking about it because people that have been on the site for longer already know about it.

news flash : people are gonna join the site everyday and have some of the same questions you guys all had a year ago or whenever you got your Fits......

Sorry about that. Just part of the game when a new chassis comes out. I remember reading ?'s over and over and over again on ephatch when peopel would join that site.

whoa whoa whoa, don't take what I say so seriously, I was just identifying, not trying to scold. I'm pretty easy going buddy, I don't intend to start anything or trying to belittle people.

Anyways, I guess the big mix up is that someone un-stickied the topic so new members can't see it. It was a really active thread with lots of people bringing up the problem and was at the top of this section. I think the mods in this area need to re-sticky it...
