Any dealerships in US honour the warranty in Canada?

Hi all, I live in Vancouver and I want to buy a Honda Fit Sport manual HB in the US. I heard from many other forums saying that Honda dealerships in the US do not honour the warranty if the Fit is imported from the US to Canada. So are there any exceptions to this system??
A reply including dealerships with the exception if possible would be great. ^^ Thanks!

Honda has stated that it will not honour warranties if the vehicle had been imported. They only did this because of the pressure from the dealers when the USD and CDN were at par. Get in good with a well established service adviser and they will be able to get around the road blocks. Just out of curiosity, why do you want to buy a Fit in the US, the prices aren't any different really. The extra components available is a good reason though. I hope you are able to get in good with an adviser.

no, theres no warranty on US fits in canada...or any Honda's from the US.
otherwise everyone would be buying Hondas' in the US..lol

the US fits are far better equipped as well...the canada versions have few options..which sucks...
