KC Window Tinting

The window tint law applies to the state you are driving in, not which state you are registered in, correct?

Are Kansas and Missouri the same on their tinting laws?

Also, has anyone had good/bad experience with local companies other than the other thread in this sub-forum?

I got my new SSM done 2 weeks ago at Midwest Tinting on SMPrky. They did a great job!! Also got a deal with a Full front Clear Bra.

I am pretty sure:
Kansas is 35% f/r
Missouri is 35% f 20%r

They can tell if you call.

Any other KC folks have a review of other tint places? I'm going to try and schedule an appt this week. I am going to call Midwest Tint and a place called Auto Glass & Tint Shop in Merriam.

I have both my Fit, and my wife's car, so am hoping for a multi-car discount.

I've had three cars done by Midwest Tinting on SmPkwy, one of which when they were still west of I-35. They're good folks, and they're fast! My fit is running 5% on the rear 3 windows, 20% on the back two doors and 35% on the front two/mirror windows.

Hey guys, I am from the KC Area as well. I have thought about tinting my windows on my 08 BBP, as well. I just need to find someone who is reasonable and does an awsome job. I will keep tabs on this thread for a while.

i went to precision tint at 87th and santa fe!! AWESOME place! has done all of my cars!! I have 18% Silver, so reasonable! Best Quality!!

Thanks for the heads up. I hopefully I will be able to get them tinted soon! I will check the place out. However I hate having to drive over to Kansas.
