30 or 35% tint?

Going to get my SSM tinted this weekend, all windows except windshield. Should I go 35% or 30% I wanna keep it legal so nothing too far under 32%. I had 35% on my VW but always wondered about if I should have gone darker.

I did the rear 5 @ 35% and a 10% strip across the top of the windscreen. If I were to do it again I would do the front two @ 20%, the rear five @ 30% and same on the windscreen.

Night visibility - I like the look - cops. I would 10% those little vent windows though.

SSM looks good with dark tints. I'd say go as dark as possible, without getting police attention. Was gonna get my ssm tinted until i ran into some financial problems.

I just got my tint and window visors put on last saturday

i went 35 percent in the front and 20 in the back.

To me its perfect cause its just enough for people to tell who you are if your sitting in the front and for the back, its pitch black but still easy to see out of at night so you don't hit people while backing up or something

I went 15% all around and it is perfect during the day and fine at night. I did a strip on the front window as well. I was going to do 20% but the place had 5, 15, and 30%. It is really okay at night now that I am use to it. The first day backing out on the parking lot at night was a little scary but now it is all good. To the OP, If I were you I would go with 35% if the legal limit is 32% because if you are going to be close to legal you might as well be legal, b/c all in all if the cops actually checks the tint it won't matter if it is 3% illegal or 30% illegal. The difference is at 30% they probably aren't going to pull you over to check the tint at 5% they might, depending on the state/city.

I've got 35% all around on mine (Sides & Back). Perfect for me. Just enough tint but not too dark for nighttime.

If you didn't notice I am in Ohio
I've never had a problem with 35%. Now if you have 20% or less you might have a problem.
My wifes tsx has 50% on the front and 35% on the rest. Honestly with the naked eye you can't tell the difference. If I do ever get pulled over I roll down my front windows anyways (just as courtesy).

Always nice to meet a Buckeye (OSU Student, 2004-06).

I'd like to keep everything legal, local police force can be a bit gung-ho.
