Options from other markets

Currently what are the options for the Fit that are not offered in the U.S. I have read the steering wheel audio controls and armrest are already offered just not in the States.

The "dumbing down" of the Fit is pretty glaring. Considering the car has been offered with basic options like an armrest in other countries but not here is irritating. It's an armrest, pretty basic stuff that most people would gladly pay for. What else if offered for the Fit that we in the States are blocked from getting?

Interior lightning that was orginaly going to be offered in the US never made it here, instead it was offered in cad and japan. Japan however has two versions. One for under the dash just like in canada and another which is a strip of lights going on the dash. refer to my pics.

Also japan has avaliable seat covers
refer to my pics

Meico also has a nice little lighting option to illuminate the little storage space on the right side of the driver. refer to my pic

Tell Honda what you think is missing and maybe they can get it added for the US version for a future year.

I wonder who decided to omit some of these things that were standard on other Jazz or FITs?

Seems kinda strange to omit a center console- unless they think that is saving on cost. Why not just make it part of the FIT sport and leave it off the base FIT?

They should have asked us first!

Missing in the UK:A 1.5l engine option.

Also:more intelligent trip computer. (Distance left in tank, not resetting display when you reset the trip).

Flashing temperature guage when it goes below 4 degrees might be useful as well.

A low washer liquid warning light (not had one of these on any Honda that I owned - how come?)

Variable speed intermittent wipe.

MP3 player.

I think the USDM fit's should come with the LED taillights. Also a better selection for wiper speeds for front and rear. Also should come with a roof console for sunglasses and reading lights one for driver and passenger. Everything else is fine I guess. The fit is a great car anyway. Plus you can get most of these items I listed from JDM fit's. But thats what I think.

corey415 will become famous soon enough
Bluetooth HandsFree is offered in Europe. They really should offer that here in the states.

Moonroof is a cool option as well.
