Turbocharged death kart

Hello, I recently crashed my loyal and trusty Honda Fit, so I bought a different car and was left with trusty still running but with a slow radiator leak Honda Fit, so I did what every teenager has wanted to do, we cut the entire body off and had our destructive fun, only problem now is that I have fallen in love with this project and want to turn it into a turbo death kart, I already have a roll cage being worked on by a professional and I was wondering about turning it into a little drag car too, I have slicks for it sitting in my truck and with a cage on the way I wanted to look at options for giving the power plant ah, ah mo powa baby, I know I have read numerous threads about swaps but could never find the ends of them, my question is, how hard would it be to do a manual b20 swap, can our manual trans handle the b20 with an adapter plate made or what do I need, or would it be more cost effective to turbo with what I have, who should I talk to about what I would need? and does anybody have a part number for the belt I would use for an a/c delete?

Unfinished cutting of the body but you get the ide

What are your power goals? Do you want to replace internals? What kind of fabricating skills do you have? Are you DIYing everything?

I'd ditch the L series and do a K series.

Donut fan?

Dude, you've gotta post more pictures of this thing. Up close and not an angle like the one you already posted please. This looks amazing.

AC Delete: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...-c-delete.html

Swaps: People usually do K swaps into these cars. https://web.archive.org/web/20121003...t/viewall.html

Edit: You've gotta give us some stats too. Very curious what the rough 0-60/quarter mile times are, how it handles (I bet it's super loose with all the stiffness from the body gone), etc.

This immediately reminded me a lot of this old Sport Compact Car story where they kept chopping pieces off a Sentra to get it into the 14s:

So much potential. You lost me when you said you didn't want it to become a turbo charged death cart...

Drag is boring.
