The Clutch is DONE!

So, a few months back, I had made a post talking about my new car, my 2008 Honda Fit Sport. Blaze Orange Metallic. She has 290K, and the OE clutch had finally been showing signs of wear.

Well... As the title suggests... The clutch is in! I have completed the repairs on the car, which took me a very long time admittedly, it is now done.
I'm just waiting on some motor mounts to arrive before I daily it, but I am so excited to hear the thing run (and drive). I cannot wait to get the car back on the road for a daily. Just thought I'd share some photos for all you Fit lovers like me out there.
I'm not a mechanical expert, however, I am able to read a book and follow directions.

Enjoy the Photos! (turns out most of them are HEIC format, because iPhone, so I cant upload as many as I thought. When I find a good way to convert them, ill upload more).

This is when it was at a buddy's house. He mentioned wanting to check it out before I tore it apart.

Here is ye olden clutch, which was slipping under any real kind of acceleration (It has had 292K miles through it, so makes sense).

Thank you guys for giving me the support to get this stuff done. Nobody wants to see a broken Fit.

Awesome! That old clutch plate is toast. This is inspiring to see, as my 245k Fit is also still on its original clutch, and I know I'll have to change it eventually.

Nice work! I wish I had a lift like your buddy. Would make life so much easier. Been looking at those quickjacks. They’re pretty reasonable. Glad to see another fit saved. I saved mine too...

Nice work. Did you experience the clutch chatter issue when cold in your car? It seems to be hit or miss. If so, did replacing the clutch fix it?
