Clutch lost pressure

Hello, new to the form here, i have been searching the forum for some answers and cant seem to find anything concrete.
I have a 2007 Honda Fit MT, and when the clutch is pushed down, it doesn’t come back up (unless i pull it back up with my hands or with my feet), the fluid was right at the minimum line, i filled it up, but it didn’t help.
The car still start and runs in neutral just fine, but cant put it in gear obviously. I dont see any leaks at the slave cylinder and i can barely see the clutch master cylinder, but what i could see at the line, there was no leaks. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Just a note to start... might want to consider breaking up your text. The bigger the solid wall of text, the less anyone wants to attempt to read it. A wall like this actually requires a little focus to avoid getting lost in the text.

As for the clutch not returning, did you look under the dash at the pedal itself? I think there should be a spring to help it return. https://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuin...7-saa-003.html

But also, did you actually try shifting into gear with the clutch pressed? If you can't shift, then it might not be the hydraulic line, but the plates themselves could be fragged. Even if it is fragged, I would think the pedal should still return... hum.

So when I press the clutch to the floor, it doesn’t “disengage” the actual clutch. So with that said no I can’t shift into gear.
When I let off the clutch pedal, it comes up like a couple inches, the rest I need to pull it up, once I pull it up, the springs bring it back up.
I’m really hoping and praying it’s not anything internal to the transmission.

You're sure there's no leak?

Hum, I wonder if the fluid managed to actually get low enough to get air into the system.

At this point, I'm leaning towards doing an actual inspection of the clutch plates.

I had mines replaced last year, as it became near impossible to shift while stopped.

I'm not a mechanic, so if I were in your shoes I'd have already taken it to a shop/dealer.

I’m a half decent shade tree YouTube mechanic 😂. That’s why I came on here for some help diagnosing this issue. I wasn’t thinking it was the actual clutch since the pedal almost no pressure.
I was thinking maybe it got low enough to suck in some air, it was pretty low. Might try to bleed the system today.
I assume it has to have a leak since the fluid is low, just haven’t seen any leaks. Does anyone know the difference between a bad clutch master cylinder and a bad slave cylinder?

So I tried to bleed the clutch hydraulics at the slave cylinder, I got slightly better pressure back, not enough to disengage the clutch tho.
I bled two 12oz bottles of dot3 fluid through the system.
at first the fluid that came out was black, now it’s clean. Could this indicate a bad clutch master cylinder? Can anyone tell me how much fluid needs to be bled before I should stop and replace a defective part? Thanks for your help. I really need it.

Looks like I’ll be replacing the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder.
