Low mileage problems

Hello guys,
a friend of mine has Honda fit 2007. He bought it used when it was 10 years old, had very low mileage (maybe 60 000 KM) for CAD 5000$ (a bit expensive I think) from a mechanic shop. It seemed to have new brakes and everything in order though.
Three years later he had to change the muffler : I've never seen this for a fit, that seemed quite early, isn't it?
This year however he's had to change the clutch ( at maybe 120 000 KM) and the front suspension.
He drives well with a clutch and doesn't let it slip too much.
The car came fitted with 16" summer tires, so very thin rubber: would this deteriorate prematurely his suspension?
And the clutch: isn't it very early for a clutch change?
Thanks

Yeah, all of that seems early. Perhaps the car had a hard life prior to his ownership. For reference I'm at about 110k miles (~177,000 km) and the clutch, exhaust, and suspension are still good 🤞.

Thanks that's what I'm thinking too. Is it possible that a mechanic can lower the mileage displayed on a fit?
I had this exact same car too and went up to 300k KM with original suspension, sparkplugs, exhaust, etc. Quite tough for a little car!

Dunno anyhing specific for the fit but yeah mileage can be lowered generally. You can just replace the gauge cluster from a lower mileage one.

But anyway, stuff can fail prematurely. Just a matter of luck. A muffler can definitely rust out in if you make lots of short trips or the roads are salted in the winter, and the clutch is a wear item. Suspension can be damaged by potholes. What exactly had to be replaced there?
