Hi everyone. I have a 08 Fit with auto trans and the engine light came on with the flashing D, also wouldn't shift into higher gears. The codes where P0847 and P0756. I changed the 3rd gear pressure switch with a genuine honda part and now the flashing D is gone, the P0756 is gone and the car shifts through all gears but the engine light is still on with P0847 and won't reset with a scanner. Is there something I'm missing or does the car need to drive a bit for it to reset? Thanks for any input.

 

Have you changed switch on the radiator side?
Persistent code can be if there is an intermittent short in the wire between the transmission fluid pressure switch B (3rd clutch) and the PCM
or the switch is rated for different pressure (aftermarket)
From 2017 3rd gear switch is the same p/n as the second gear switch

 

The switched i changed was right by the dip stick. I bought the part at Honda I believe this is an updated part then what was on there originally
