Plug reassembly thought?

I've got a 2007 Fit with an L15A series engine. I was removing the engine to do some gasket/seal refresh work and in the process of unplugging the wiring loom from the various sensors are the engine, I pulled a wire out of the male end of (what I believe to be) the oil temp sensor. It's the sensor located right above the starter on the intake side of the block. The plug itself is it suitable condition. It's just the wire was pulled out and needs to be re-inserted into the plug. The pictures attached should show the predicament.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to resolve this? I can try simply sliding the wire back into the plug, but I have no idea if the wire is making a good connection with the metal prong inside the plug. An help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt
