2008 Fuel filter
Does the 2008 Fit have a replaceable fuel filter, or just the permanent in tank filter.
I'm not having any running issues, but would like to replace it, if there is one. It doesn't appear that there is though.
If it makes a difference, I have the base model, manual transmission, AC, and 1.5 liter engine.

Does anybody know where I can buy the full fuel pump assembly (assembly complete with new pump, new filter and fuel level sensor)? Supplier that delivers to Europe, preferably.
Bought an '07 Jazz from somebody who drove it very little. Car regularly had oldish petrol in the tank and so fuel filter is likely clogged (I regularly have hard starts). Instead of just replacing the fuel filter I would like to replace the whole assembly. I may as well do that while I am at it.
Unfortunately the fuel filter is integrated into the assembly in a very complicated way so I don't want to replace only the filter.

But since you are in Sweden, and I know nothing about good parts stores there, I cannot suggest anything other than calling the dealer to see if they sell the whole unit.

Thanks for the information. I think if the car runs without problems, that is, it does not stop and does not stall, then the fuel filter should not be changed. But if such problems begin, it is worth reconsidering the situation. In such cases, I change the fuel filter and use an oil additive to stop smoke from https://davesoilchange.com/oil-addit...r-burning-oil/. This is very important for a car with a diesel engine because the smoke emissions into the atmosphere are quite large.
