Removing valance below front bumper

I think that narrow piece that sits below the front bumper is called a valance. Anyway, mine is dented and hanging low so was wondering if ok to just remove and not replace and also, how do I remove it? Do I need to lift the car? Can anyone tell me how it's held on? Thanks.

Its pretty easy. You don't have to have it on a lift it would be easier if you can get the front of the car off the ground a bit. A few 10mm bolts holds it in and there are some tabs that just pull out. Get under there and look at it and you'll figure it out easy enough.
