Honda! Why did you make me do this! (RANT)

So I swapped out a cracked tail for a new one I bought on the forums ($35!!!!! Good price). Why in the heck did Honda think it was necessary to put a screw going vertical behind the damn bumper? I don't think I've ever had to hassle with removing a bumper to take off a tail light. Or did I just go through this step when I could have avoided it?

I hope I was just a dummy and did more work than I had to. Blast you for the extra work Honda.

You don't have to remove the rear bumper you can access the bolt/screw from underneath the car. Its not easy and will claim a few ounces of flesh from the back of your hand, but it beats having to remove the bumper! And X2 on needing to remove the bumper to change a taillight assembly (fail!)

Dang, it almost sounds like removing the bumper is worth saving the blood. I'll settle for jus sweat and tears.

But yeah, boooooo on you Honda. lol

you don't need to remove the rear bumper to get the taillight off, all you need is a 12" phillips head screw driver and average length arms

Yea just a long screw driver... it wont gash ur hands. Also the rear bumper takes less than 5 min to remove anyway.
