My youngest returned from college noting that the glass from the passenger door mirror “was stolen”. Past record suggests there was a small incident involving and inanimate object.

Anyhow I was looking to replace just the glass. All the parts site show the replacement mirror glass but no apparent back plate. Honda parts diagrams are no help.

See the pic. Is that something I need to mount the mirror? Other manufacturers have a plastic backing or frame.


Anything missing other than just the mirror glass?

 

Seems like you have the actuator still in place, the only other part there is the

76203-SAA-G41 MIRROR SUB ASSY., R. (SR1400) (HEATED)

I think it's the whole assembly with the heater and any backing plate that is needed to mount it. But I've never replaced it myself so YMMV
