So I have a weird issue, as soon as I connect my battery my stereo goes onto Standby, it physically won't turn off unless I disconnect the battery 😂 The yellow wire is the 'memory'The red wire is the 'power' I have to set it up like this otherwise the radio doesn't turn on at all 😅 I'm stumped. Any help will be great.

This wiring is the only way my radio will even turn on but won't ever turn off unless battery is disconnected.

I've tried it this way just incase & nothing at all, I also tried yellow to yellow & red to red & absolutely nothing.

 

Something's wonky here. What are the actual colors on the car's harness side?

Yellow/red is switched power
White/red is always +12v (aka memory)

I can only see pure yellow and red on your photos. Check that these are hooked up according to your new stereo's manual.
