Battery?

Hello everyone,
went to start my 2013 fit sport and the battery was dead, jump started and reset the radio, while driving about 1/4 mile the radio went off and I had to reset it, this keeps happening. Shut car off and the car starts. The fan works as do windows while car is running accept for the radio issue. Shut car off and disconnected negative battery terminal for about 2hrs and it started. Will try this overnight. Any suggestions what might be happening? If it starts in the morning, I would think the radio or something else is draining it, I cannot determine were the fuse is for radio, anyone help with this also.

Was the radio changed recently? My thought would lead me to think that the battery terminal wiggled loose during your initial jump. Be sure that the terminals are tightened down. How old is the battery?

the radio and battery are original, terminals are tight. I would just get a new battery except the radio situation seems weird. Why would all accessory's work when car is running except for radio acting like the battery is being disconected/

No reason to waste your time diagnosing when you know there is a part that needs replaced. Change the battery, clean the connectors and then see if you still have a problem.

And this thread gave me bad luck
My battery died!

I didn't drive it for a week because I was working mostly from home.
I charged it for four hours and it got me to work the next day. Hoping it holds a charge!
If not I'll be buying a battery myself. Mine is from October 2018.

Sorry to hear that , I ended up buy battery at dealer for $3 more then Walmart. Installed it at dealer and the car started up but the radio went off as before, asked someone in service and they said since I bought battery at dealer they would look at it, brought it in and now the radio stays on after code is entered. When I asked them if the radio stayed on after I put code in they said yea and they don't know why it didn't turn off.
