Is the Honda Fit ignition switch assembly interchangeable with the Honda Jazz?

Hi there,

Trying to fix my car after a thief damaged the ignition switch, I have a Honda Fit 2007 GD1 is it interchangeable with what other car types?

Sorry to hear that man.

Exactly what happened to me last weekend. Absolutely incompetent thief. So I'm wondering the same thing but for a 2013 Japanese import.

Howya man. Yeah I got it sorted. I phoned a place called Lock Doctor. They were great. They didn't have the exact ignition (apparently it's a nightmare to get) but the main guy (can't for the life of me remember his name) was able to reconstruct the whole ignition assembly and and immobiliser setup. It's been perfect ever since. I then got an aftermarket alarm installed with the whole flashing light job just to add a layer protection. Might make the little bollixes a bit more reluctant to mess with the car in the first place. Even broken windows on certain models of these yokes are difficult to replace. Good luck man.👍👍
